Board Member

Kevin Halderman, a dedicated husband and father, has been self-employed for 25 years, managing various businesses including his current venture, Hemp Hemp Hooray. For the past two years, he has been a strong advocate for sensible regulation and development within Missouri's hemp industry. With expertise in research, economic analysis, and strategic planning, Kevin supports the industry's growth and has earned a place on the Missouri Hemp Trade Association (MHTA) board. He focuses on political advocacy and legislative oversight, playing a key role in shaping hemp regulation. In 2022, he helped defeat a bill that threatened to reclassify hemp-derived cannabinoids as marijuana. Kevin sees infrastructure and accurate information as key challenges but also identifies opportunities in expanding fiber and cannabinoid markets. He envisions MHTA leading the industry through effective legislation and regulatory oversight and encourages members to stay actively involved. An avid outdoorsman, Kevin's love for nature enhances his contributions to the board and his commitment to developing a thriving hemp industry in Missouri.

I'm always looking for new and exciting opportunities. Let's connect.
